Trufora wants every woman to feel confident, inspired, and beautiful in her skin. With Trufora, women can be assured that their skincare uses only the highest quality ingredients, is proven to be effective, and is safe both for them and the environment. Our products are made to simplify your routine and your life: fewer steps with more results.
Free from more than 1,300 known toxins, Trufora exceeds even strict European Regulations to ensure our products contain only pure, effective, safe, and non-irritating ingredients. Many "natural" or "organic" ingredients do not meet our standards, due to their potential to cause irritation or allergic reaction, or because they contain hidden sources of toxic ingredients such as phthalates.
All of our tubes and airless packages are 100% recyclable, and were specifically chosen for their lower plastic content. Our boxes are made from post-consumer recycled materials and are printed with soy-based ink in an ISO-9000 facility. Our plant-based ingredients are selected to be ECOCERT Organic where possible, and sustainably harvested. We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact, and supporting green farming methods.
We proudly display the Leaping Bunny logo as well as the Vegan logo to show that our products are certified cruelty free and certified vegan. These certifications represent our commitment to never using animal-derived ingredients, and never testing our raw ingredients or Trufora products on animals. All Trufora products have gone through extensive Dermatologist testing, conducted on human volunteers to ensure that our products are pure, effective, safe, and non-irritating.
Developed with a renowned NYC dermatologist, every ingredient in Trufora products is carefully selected to be the highest quality and most effective. Our products have been through multiple third party clinical studies to demonstrate their efficacy in correcting all major skin issues including tone, texture, lines/wrinkles, and firmness. We also rigorously test each product to confirm that it is safe, non-irritating, non-comedogenic, and non-sensitizing for all skin types and all ethnicities.
Meet Our Founder
Before founding Trufora, I spent more than 10 years in brand management roles with many of the biggest brands in skincare, including Proactiv, SkinMedica, and Galderma. Time and time again, I was astounded by the industry’s poor product quality and the outrageous claims being made. I saw the need to develop products that delivered real clinical improvement to the skin that were suitable to women of all ethnicities and skin types, while also being ethically conscious of both animals and the environment.
I knew that it was possible to give all women a new, and much better option to take care of their skin. I told my girlfriends, sisters, and female colleagues that I was going to create a skincare line that wouldn’t irritate the skin or contain harmful ingredients (or ingredients tested on animals) AND that it would deliver visible results -- they all unanimously said this was exactly what they wanted!
Many women think that choosing "organic" or "natural" products is enough, and then find out that many of the ingredients used actually contain hidden toxins, cause irritation, or don’t deliver any visible changes to the skin. I knew that I could create an effective, Dermatologist grade skincare line using only the purest, safest and most effective ingredients – and a skincare line that women would love using as the quality of the ingredients would make the products feel luxurious and gentle on the skin. With this goal in mind I set about developing a skincare line that had truth in its formulations – and that is how Trufora was born.
I have two amazing daughters, Erika and Sienna, and a very lazy and much loved rescue dog named Archie. My family and I are happy to call Austin, Texas home.
